Appealing Egg Butter Masala….easy & tasty! with roti, rice & naan

I actually tried this recipe by viewing the paneer butter masala same as that but by adding eggs into it was really awesome lets try this recipe with some little twists and tricks. The hard boiled eggs goes really well with that aromatic semi gravy.

And also the biriyani rice which is the flavored rice, plays the major role in it which enhances the dish to the next level.

Just give this a try guys the recipe is as follows:

Prep time: 15 min       Cooking time: 5 min       Serves: 3


Saute & grind below ingredients:

  1. Onion – 2
  2. Tomato – 2
  3. Ginger – a small piece
  4. Garlic – 3 cloves
  5. Butter – 3 tbsp
  6. Cashews – 4 to 5

Other ingredients:

  1. Egg – 3
  2. Bay leaf – 1
  3. Cinnamon – 1
  4. Clove – 3
  5. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  6. Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  7. Coriander powder – 1 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
  9. Salt – 1 tsp
  10. Parsley / Fenugreek leaves (dried) – 1/2 tsp

Before starting the process, if you are going to have it with rice follow this:

Take req amount of rice and soak it in water before starting this recipe

Preparation :

  • Take a wide pan and saute all the ingredients above
  • When it has cooled down add it into the blender and grind it into a smooth paste
  • Do not add water while grinding
  • Just take out the paste and add 1/2 cup of water and wash the blender and pour into it
  • Then add the eggs and hard boil them
  • And keep it aside
  • Take a pan and add some butter
  • Add the bay leaf, cinnamon and clove saute a bit
  • Add turmeric powder and red chilly powder and give it a slight mix
  • But make sure it is not burnt keep it in a low-medium flame
  • Add the paste into it and give it a stir
  • Add Coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt
  • Give it a gentle mix and in this part if you wish you can add some cream too but i didn’t


  • Add the boiled eggs one by one into the gravy
  • Crush some fenugreek leaves or parsley and put them into it
  • And switch off the flame and platter it
  • Take another hollow pan and cook the soaked rice
  • Add some salt, lemon and a few drops of oil
  • When the rice is cooked drain it in a colander
  • Platter it in a restaurant style by adding a ladle of rice and top it of with some gravy and an egg on the side



  • For garnishing also you can add some cream on top and some fenugreek leaves

This goes well with roti, naan, biriyani rice. And this is a recipe all kids will definitely love this recipe!
