3 Ingredient Almond Cookies HOME MADE Simply Fresh! Kids LOVE them!

Kids will surely love them . Easiest cookie ever and it is a healthy recipe for sure because it has no baking powder or soda or added flavours or no preservatives . You can even give them for your kids snack box too! My son he is just 2 1/2 yrs old he will be always asking me for it “mmaaammmmaaaa aaamond cukieee” haha 😀 funny right 😉 you guys too try this at home and let me know.

Preparation time: 10 min + 30 min (freezing)       Cooking time: 20 min     Serves: 10

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour / Maida – 2 1/4 cup or 9 oz
  2. Softened butter(room temp) – 3/4 cup or 6 oz
  3. Super fine sugar – 1/2 cup or 3.5 oz
  4. Almond flakes – 5 tbsp
  5. Salt – a pinch

Items required:

  • Wide mixing bowl
  • Baking pan or cookie sheet
  • Brush
  • Knife and board to cut
  • Spatula
  • Whisk / wooden spatula
  • Aluminium foil 10 cm
  • Plastic cling sheet 10 cm
  • A cookie jar

Preparation:

  • Take a large bowl to mix in all the ingredients
  • Add the softened butter beat well
  • Then add the sugar beat until it has combined well enough
  • Add the all purpose flour and the almond flakes
  • Add the pinch of salt too
  • Mix everything well when it has formed a crumble texture take it out to a work space
  • And make it into a dough
  • Remember no water!
  • After kneading it for 5 mins make it into a rectangular prism
  •  I divided the dough into two parts so that it was easy for my next step
  • Take an aluminium foil for about 10 cm and spread it on the work space
  • Sprinkle some sugar onto the foil and just place the prism in one end and roll it to the other end so that all the four sides are coated with sugar
  • Take about 10 cm of plastic cling sheet keep it on the work space
  • Take the prism and tightly wrap it up
  • Similarly i did the other one too
  • Just plate it and keep it in the refrigerator or freezer for about 1/2 an hour
  • Take it out from the wrapper after when it is hard enough and cut each square about 1 cm thickness
  • As soon as you take it out from freezer just slice them and bake so that it will be perfect
  • Brush a baking pan with some butter/oil
  • Aline the cookies in the pan and bake them at 325 degree Fahrenheit for 20 mins until lightly golden
  • After it has come out the cookies will look like these as shown an then leave it in the room temp on a cooling rack for about 10 to 15 mins
  • It should be perfectly baked and make sure to leave some spacing in between each cookie while arranging them into the baking pan or cookie sheet
  • And mainly store them in a air tight container for a long lasting freshness
  • Use a spatula and scrape it out one by one but be careful not to damage them
