Pani poori :p (NOT a BIG DEAL!!) With Home Made Golgappas…!!!

Ingredients:

For making your own dough:

  1. Rava – 2 cups
  2. All purpose flour / Maida – 2 tbsp
  3. Baking powder – 2 pinch
  4. Salt – to taste
  5. Oil – to deep fry
  6. Water as needed

Or else you can get your store brought golgappas as shown in the pic below

For the POTATO Stuff:

  1. Boiled and mashed potatoes – 2 cups
  2. Finely chopped onions – 1 cup
  3. Green chilli (finely chopped) – 1/2
  4. Coriander leaves – few
  5. Lemon juice – 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  7. Aam chur powder / Raw mango powder – 1 tsp
  8. Raw mango paste – 1 tbsp
  9. Raw Mango – (finely chopped) 1 tbsp
  10. Salt to taste

For the Dipping Water:

  1. Tamarind soaked in water
  2. Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  3. Aam chur / Raw mango powder – 1 tsp
  4. Raw mango paste and coriander paste – 1 tsp
  5. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Water as needed

Preparation:

For the stuff:

  • Take the boiled and mashed potatoes and add in all the above ingredients and mix well
  • Add some tamarind water to the stuff too to make it really tantalizing

For the Dipping water:

  • Take the tamarind soaked in water just extract all from it
  • Make sure to add more water
  • Add all the ingredients said above

  • This is a store brought golgappas

  • Just get them and deep fry fattafat all ready to eat

For MAKING the home made dough:

  • Firstly take a bowl to mix in the following ingredients
  • Rava, Maida just to bind, salt, baking powder a bit of sugar to get the perfect color
  • Mix all the dry ingredients well
  • Add water gradually and make it a soft dough
  • Then make it as seperate big balls
  • Just make chappathi out of one ball
  • And cut it with a cookie cutter or Indian filter cap or just a bottle cap will do
  • Make the perfect shape
  • Keep some oil to deep fry put it one by one press gently to attain the fluffiness
  • Flip it to the other side take it out when you have the perfect colour and crispness
  • Just make this and store it in a air tight container for about a week or so
  • Make it anytime & ENJOY it with the fillings!!!
