TANDOORI FISH Fry / Meen Varuval

Ingredients:

For the marination:

  1. Thinly sliced fish – 10 to 12 pieces
  2. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
  4. Chopped onions – 1 tsp
  5. Red chilly powder – 1 tbsp
  6. Coriander powder – 1 1/2 tbsp
  7. Cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
  8. Garam masala powder – 1/2 tbsp
  9. Mint leaves – as req
  10. Coriander leaves – as req
  11. Curry leaves – as req
  12.  Lemon – half
  13. Salt – to taste

Preparation:

For the paste:

Just grind all the above ingredients in a blender except fish make it a thick paste

You should make this twice

  • Once during marination and
  • The other one is just before you fry them.

  • Marinade overnight
  • Again repeat the same ingredients with some finely chopped curry leaves on it
  • Just dip it in the paste and shallow fry them in a wide pan
  • READY!! our mouth watering yummy tandoori fish fry.
