Preparation time: 10 mins          Cooking time: 15 mins           serves:6


  1. Brown chick peas/karupu kondai kadalai – 3 cups
  2. Onions – Chopped  4 or 5 tbsp
  3. Oil – 2 tbsp

For GREEN Chutney:

  1. Coriander leaves – as req
  2. Green chilly – 1
  3. Garlic – 1 clove
  4. Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  5. Salt – to taste
  6. Chopped onions – 1 tbsp
  7. Water – 2 tsp



  • Boil the chick pea with some salt in the cooker
  • Take a wide pan and smear some oil
  • Put the paste and saute it for about 3 to 4 mins


  • Add in the boiled chick peas to it and saute a little until the bottom of the pan is dried
  • Plate it in a bowl and top it with some raw chopped onions and squeeze in some lemon juice
  • The DELICIOUS looking seasoned green sundal is READY.
