Modakathan Dosai

Ingredients:

  1. Rice 3 cups
  2. ulundhu/ urad dhal 2 table spoons
  3. modakathan powder
  4. oil as needed

Soak:

Soak both separately in water for 6 hrs or overnight

put it in a mixer grinder and make it as a dosa batter and add salt as req

After when it is fermented it is ready to use.

TIPS:

Actually no need to add urad dhal for this it will  be already sticky enough

the best chutney for this is garlic chutney

Preparation:

  • Add 1 or 1 1/2 ladle full of dosa batter and spread evenly
  • This will be very tasty when it is thick too
  • And then smear some oil on the sides
  • After when the dosa is cooked flip it on the otherside
  • Or just close it with a lid and cook the dosa so that it will be soft and yummy
  • Just take the dosa out and platter it with chutney
